My experience is that it is not always necessary to 'go deep,' although my approach certainly lends itself to intervening at all different levels when needed: the underlying schemas (who am I?), the values and norms (what do I believe?), the skills (what can I do?), and the behavior (what do I do?). I have been working from my own practice since 2003 and live in Utrecht with my husband, three children, and dog. After obtaining my Master's degree in Psychology in 1997, I have completed various accredited post-master level trainings such as Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, etc. Lifelong learning is a priority for me.
